From 2008 to 2012 I went on an international couchsurfing adventure while working primarily as an eLearning Developer and a musician. I consider it another 4-year degree. In that time I traveled in North & South America, Europe, spent quite a bit of time in Australia/New Zealand. I still travel extensively all over the globe, enjoying a “home-free” lifestyle.
Where ever I go, I encounter people who want to know all about what life is like without a home base. After sharing the same stories and tips to fellow travelers and desk-bound friends living vicariously off my facebook feed for years, I thought I’d put it all in one spot for everyone to see.
This section used to be its own blog called I Live on The Cloud, which started as a FAQ for folks interested in not living anywhere in particular but doing it really well. Then it evolved a bit, including travel hacks, tech tips, & other relevant info, then it got hacked to pieces by Russian pornographers…a bunch of times (hey,”The Cloud” was a big deal in 2012!) Finally, I got tired of saving it and let it die.
But my fans wouldn’t let it die, so here it is in its new home. I do add to it periodically. Hope you enjoy it. If there’s something you’d like to see here that isn’t here yet, just ask!
