Last night I had the pleasure of joining Zorina Wolf in leading a TaKeTiNa Circle for the lovely folks who run Conscious Dancer Magazine & some of their friends. We’ve done full weekend workshops at retreat centers together before, longtime Journeys In Rhythm followers may recall. Though Zorina & I hadn’t seen each other in a few years (she moved to Washington), it was a great opportunity to drop deep into rhythm with this longtime friend and mentor. That’s just what we did, and now we’re about to do it more.
I’ll also be playing surdo for Zorina on 2/11 in Palo Alto, at The Annual Drum Circle Facilitator’s Conference February 22-14 in Monterey, and likely at The World Rhythm Festival in Seattle April 12-14. She’s about to be doing TaKeTiNa and Drumming workshops in Dallas Texas, Vancouver BC, Portland Oregon, & near her home in Sequim, Washington as well. If you’re near any of these places (or know someone who is), get involved. The rhythm is vast, and is there to support you and groove you to a new state of being.
