Where I am: Central Utah, enjoying the beautiful fall colors and stunning scenery.

What I’m focused on for this month:

  1. People & AI Collaboration Effectiveness Score = I’ve been searching for a way to tell how well someone is using AI well from what they know about AI, and it’s a mess out there. We’re still in the stage where snake oil reigns supreme, and I can’t find anyone solving the core problem of objective assessment or benchmarking collaboration with AI. So (sigh!) I’m rolling up my sleeves and solving it myself. Made this the capstone project of my AI PM certification, big deliverable for this month. Look for more about “PAICE Scoring” here soon.
  2. Whitepaper blast layup = Big ideas happen easily for me, like the one above. I’ve posted dozens of them here over the years, but for the most part they’ve not really gone anywhere. I tend to be a little too far ahead, and a little too casual about how I express myself. But now that everything is speeding up (thanks to AI), I’m planning on putting out at least one new whitepaper and/or GitHub project every couple weeks. Ideas like my standard for unique identifiers, Earth Temporal Standard time, the Energy Resource Gauge for financial analysis, Fourth Brain, etc. are coming soon to a website near you! I’m not looking for credit, I’m not looking for money, I’m seeking to ship these ideas in a real way so that they can be useful to the world. I want to get them out of my head and into others where they can do some good.
  3. Reconnecting to work peers = Back in 2019/2020, just before the lockdowns, I pulled back from the L&D and HR Tech communities that I’d invested so much time in helping build for so long. Since then I’ve made a few appearances to speak at local conferences or guest on a podcast as a favor for a friend, but I’ve mostly kept to myself. I had my reasons. Now I’m looking for opportunities to renew relationships with people doing good work throughout those industries, as well as others in AI, security, fintech, and other industries that I’m deeply interested in. If that’s you, feel free to book some time with me now that I’m feeling more social again :)
